Turbomeca Makila 1A2 Engine

The MAKILA is a free-turbine turboshaft of 1300 kW class designed in five modules.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Application: The Makila 1A2 is the engine of the Eurocopter Super Puma and Cougar as well as the Denel Aviation attack helicopter Rooivalk. The Makila 1A2 is also offered as a replacement engine for the Puma. The Makila 1A4 version will power the new EC225/EC725 of Eurocopter.
