In March 1987 my Airforce screening started at Fürstenfeldbruck.

Crew 3A/87

At that time it was done on the
Piaggio P-149-D.
First solo 11.06.1987

The helicopter training started in Oktober 1987 at Ft. Rucker Alabama USA.
First helicopter solo 08.12.1987

Further training was done on the
Bell UH-1H, also at Ft. Rucker.
First Huey solo 10.02.1988

After the primary training the "Europäisierung" followed at Ahlhorn on the UH-1D.

After my training I was transferd to the Special Air Mission Wing MOD at Cologne.

When the 2nd squadron was established I was transferd to this squadron at Nörvenich.

Since 1997 I'm flying the Cougar at the 3rd Squadron Berlin-Tegel.

In March 1999 I validated my commercial pilot licence with a type rating on the Hughes 300c.

October 2000 I got my Instructor certificate on the AS532U2.
Training was done at Helikopter Service on the AS332L2.

A new experience. Flying with night vision goggles. I finished NVG training in Febuary 2004.

Certified Helisim AS332L2 Instructor Operating Station since March 2004.

2007-01-18 JAR-FCL ATPL (H) issued by the Luftfahrt Bundesamt.

2007-03-01 I'm now working for CHC Helikopter Service AS.

2008-09-02 Checked out as Captain.
