This is a collaboration project with Peter Groll from Munich. From his first 3D printed prototype we managed to design a 3D printable seconds pendulum regulator pulley clocks. The whole project includes some helpful tools. At the moment we are improving some details which should make the hole built easier to print on a standard 3D printer with as few as possible extra parts. So far we managed to come up with a pendulum and weight construction with easy to acquire weight material. The clock features a retrograde hour indicator. We have several ideas for cases and wall brakets. This will be to choose for the individual. For the time being I go with the 3D printed wall braket with a acryl glass cover. The simulation in Fusion 360 showed that the braket has a more than 15 times safety for the total weight of the clock, pendulum and weight. The minute hand will have a magnet based friction system to change time while the clock is running. The weight lift will have a counter lock to keep the force steady during lifting.
