On this memorable date, 11.08.2023, a significant chapter unfolded as I took possession of my Microlino in the charming locale of Wachtendonk. Embarking on its maiden voyage, a 126 km expedition to Bonn, my journey was initially structured with a planned charging interlude at the halfway mark. Yet, the charging station I had meticulously selected refused to cooperate, thwarting my intentions.

In the midst of my charging conundrum, a fellow traveler intervened, an inquisitive soul intrigued by the Microlino's presence. Much to my astonishment, this individual emerged as a true trailblazer in the realm of electro mobility, having pioneered the installation of one of NRW's inaugural wallboxes two decades past. Serendipity played its hand as fate would have it, for this visionary resided a mere 200 meters further along the path, extending an earnest invitation to recharge my Microlino within his abode.
Such a delightful twist of fate, coupled with an overwhelming display of kindness, left an indelible mark. Over the course of an hour and a half, my vehicle's energy stores were replenished, rendering the remainder of my homeward journey a feasible endeavor.
I successfully connected to the charger down the road upon returning home, achieving my first complete charge.
