The construction goes back to 1927 and the production started 1935 according to the "1957 Junghans Werkliste" written with a typewriter found in the Schramberg Stadtmuseum.

There is a movement W33 which clearly shows an escapement which I could not find a description of. The movement is depicted in the 1937 Furnituren catalog.
Also this escapement with no special name is shown in the 1957 Furnituren catalog on the W274/100 movement.
