According to information from the Deutsche Bahn Museum, there was only a requirement for the personnel to have a correct going watch. No information available that the Bahn did provide the watches. The personnel had to obtain a watch themselves.

You can find Junghans pocket watches with the winged wheel "Flügelrad" symbol on the dial, but I could not find information, evidence about whom ordered these watches.
